I'm currently on a hiatus from cons and cosplaying.
I'm praying I'll still be able to hang out with my friends a lot, but there's been so much anxiety around cons, so much stress. Right now I think I should try to maybe stop and just work hard to try and get things back in order a bit. Re-evaluate. I'm really sorry to everyone who I've been working with on groups and all, and I'm sorry to those who I've let down by having to drop costumes/groups. I feel like I've done a lot of that recently.
But, by helping to get my house back in order, I'll reclaim an area so I can have my friends over again, and I'll also reclaim my sewing area. Basically, once things are in (decent) order across the board, I'll try and come back. Of course, I'm flaky enough sometimes that I might not even be able to stay on this hiatus.

Some of you might remember when I first posted about the Otakon Masquerade for this year. Some of you had also commented about helping with it. Well, as much as I didn't want to, Ray and I had to scratch the Persona 4 skit. There wasn't enough interest, and so we've come up with another idea. (well... sorta two, but we're leaning towards the dramatic skit rather than the comedy skit.)

SO.
Is anyone bringing Persona 3 to Otakon?
And if so, would you be interested in being in a Masquerade skit? 
Again, here's basic requirements:

[1] Motivated and available for Otakon Masquerade.
[2] Lives in the MD/DC/VA (DC Metro?) area, able to commute to the Anne Arundel (between Baltimore and Annapolis) area of Maryland OR is willing to watch rehearsal videos to try and get an idea of what's going on.
[3] Willing to cosplay someone from Persona 3 (either a SEES member, or as a member of Strega) OR a stage ninja (wear all black and act as tech crew <3).
[4] Can deal with Ashley (and possibly Julia and/or Ray) for an extended period of time. 8Db

The other option is for Persona 4, and has to do with the 'Miss' Yasogami High pageant. So, we'd need five people: four for the contestants, and one emcee.

We do have one small problem: registration opens in a few days, so I need to finalize my plans if I want to try and pull this together in time. So you guys know how to contact me; please do if you want to help in this endeavor. I'll gladly explain the skits to you over phone or IM or skype or whatever if you want. Just let me know guys? <3
